Under the leadership of President Ethan Halpern, American Awning’s incredible history has been able to keep up with modern needs by adding waterproof retractable awning systems, shade sails, and metal canopies and the technology needed for advanced projects.

Ethan Halpern
President
Under Ethan’s leadership American Awning has doubled in size. Ethan is known for his executive skills, customer care, and ability to solve complex awning needs with simple solutions.
Outside of awnings, you can find Ethan running around a park with his wife, two kids, and dog, or hurtling down the side of a mountain on a bike.
Michael Banuelos
Production Manager
Michel brings the technological smarts to our historical brand as the Production Manager. Michael is known for his CAD expertise, his customer care, and large project management.
Outside of awnings, Micheal enjoys going to the beach, hitting the snowy slopes, and working on his martial arts.
Patricia Gaspar
Office & Operations Manager
Patricia has been scheduling, planning, organizing all things American Awning for almost 10 years. She is known for her ability to manage large projects and her personal care over the phone. As production manager she loves hearing how thrilled each custom is with their newly installed awning.
Outside of awnings, Patricia enjoys camping and cooking with her very large family.
